About UsFoolishness Press was established in 1998 with the sole purpose of publishing the works of Rick Pryll. Self-publishing has grown into an industry these days, and in doing so, has taken on several different appellations. We choose to go by artisanal publishers, a phrase made popular by Guy Kawasaki in his book Author Publisher Entrepreneur, because we seek to give reader a unique experience beyond the books, beyond the text, beyond characters and plot.

Who We Are |
It takes a village to support antisanal publishers in this day and age. A loose group of two dozen individuals combine talents to help make Rick's words come to life. Beta readers, cover artists, book designers, cover designers, developmental editors, copy editors and line editors, as well as readers, fans and super fans. Rick is also a member of Charlotte Center for the Literary Arts, otherwise known as CharlotteLit and he's a member of Charlotte Writer's Club.
